you miss the point, Nike aren't interested in having a cult following, making 'real' skate shoes doesn't matter to them, what they're after is the muppet crowd. The suburban wannabees that wouldn't know Matt Hensley if he'd boned a melon into their nose.
Remember when Nike always insisted they were a 'real' sports company, they weren't interested in fashion, yet now you get twenty different pairs of designer endorsed dunks a week - its sickening. Dont buy that shit.
