the thing I like about design is that its about answering a brief, in a real creative way whilst making the end product look really nice without having to stick some ill-informed social comments in there to boot - thats what I look at paintings or sculpture for - design I look at to go 'thats nice, thats real clever - well done' - remember - as much as a lot of designers out there go on about 'consumerism' and western ideals etcetc - thats basically what we all help to promote - if nobody had any products to sell, if nobody was trying to make any money then we'd all be out of a job - oh - apart from Designers Republic - cause of course I can guarantee that their clients give them work based on their so-called 'social comments' as they say - like shite! (did you spot the sarcasm there?) it's all bollocks.
