    After 10 years avoiding Google, not having Gmail accounts and using a rooted phone with mostly open source apps...

    I just discovered today that I have a Google Drive account because you know, I needed first a YT account for work and then to manage APi stuff for clients websites and other stuff.

    Fuck me.

    Really, would it be possible to manage recaptchas, api stuff, google indexing and other stuff without a google account?

    How did I found out?

    My brother's band shared some stuff with me in a Google Drive, initially I thought they just added me to the group with my email address.

    I know how all of this works and still somehow I just "ignored" that by making a YT account I just get almost the complete G package.
