I have a few friends who are doing this professionally (one is an MD, she quit her hospital job as a Dr. to pursue psychedelics). It's pretty amazing, both hearing how it's changed friends' lives and the clinical data supporting treating addiction, migraines, depression, etc., etc.
It's pretty amazing and the possibilities to health benefits are endless. We'll be discovering new benefits for decades (we'd already know if it weren't for lovely lobbying + govt shutting it all down decades ago).
