sarahfailin: I struggle with depression, have been on meds to deal with it for quite some time now. My session allowed me to focus on, confront and deal with the past trauma in my life that is at the root of this depression. I was able to unpack a lot of shit that was buried and in doing so I was able to create some closure and move on. A key aspect of this kind of treatment is practicing integration following your journey. What that looks like varies from person to person, but for me it's journalling, guided meditation, exercise and being in nature, and group sessions with others who have experienced psychedelic therapy.

I can happily say that I've been able to stop taking my meds and my depression is gone. The meds were never going to cure it, they just numbed the feelings, but the psychedelic therapy did.
