  There’s a mexican mission-style church some blocks from my place that hosts weddings every weekend. Every time they do this they release a bunch of white doves which i’m sure they think looks cool, but now my neighborhood is full of these sick, scrawny-looking birds that don’t know how to feed themselves because they’ve lived in cages their entire lives. They don’t know how to bird so they just starve to death or get picked off by hawks. Recently the booming hawk population has gained an interest in my chickens and i’ve had to run several off.
