Free interning is ignorant, unfortuantely it's source is mainly college students, and it phases out students who have to support themselves while in school, leaving more priveledged people the opportunity to advance.
Being someone who had to finance thier entire education myself, I feel sorry for the student who has to slave at a crappy waiter/waitressing job in order to finance and pursue their passion, while someone else gets to gain knowledge without the struggle.
Just my opinion...
