this cunt of a phone just erased all of my passwords. imessages, gmail accounts, apps accounts... everything.

next phone won't be an iphone, I'm over that shit.

    Fuck you Apple®

    • Not trying to defend them, because that sucks majorly. Was there nothing backed up to iCloud though? That’s saved my ass a couple times.monospaced
    • you were definitely holding it wrong.dopepope
    • I have no trust in iCloud, sooner or later it's going to be hacked, I don't want anything to do with it.dyspl
    • backup?inteliboy
    • No backups = your fault.ArmandoEstrada
    • And what you do? It wont just magically do shit. Were you trying to install the beta or something?ArmandoEstrada
    • Damn. Not even automatic wireless backups to a home machine. Dayum. Fuck Apple!monospaced
    • This has never happened to an android device. Ever.monospaced
    • I'm not at home, I have to check how long ago I did a backup. And I didn't do anything, no beta install nothing.dyspl
    • The fucking thing started to light up like a Christmas tree, suddenly opening messages asking for every passwordsdyspl
    • Wifi, email, iCloud etc...dyspl
    • And mono, I used to pay an extra price for apple devices for simple reasons : reliability, and ease of use.dyspl
    • now I can't access one of my gmail account... I've reset the password, etc... the thing won't add it. I'm not a 60+ grandma trying her phone for the 1st time.dyspl
    • Their stuff is getting more and more clunky by the day... it's just not worth it anymore IMO.dyspl
    • You decided not to enact auto backups, which do work and are reliable and simple. Sucks.monospaced
    • Mono.... you're trying to deviate the subject. Backups have nothing to do with the phone being less reliable.dyspl
    • I would backup every day, I'd still be upset by a phone acting like a piece of garbage.dyspl
    • Trying seeing things a bit beyond your fanboyism...dyspl

    • ^sure sure...dyspl
    • I see this behaviour if I change a password elsewhere, like on a browser. Do your old passwords work anywhere?comicsans
    • it’s not fanboyism ... I genuinely think this sucks ... I’ve never heard of it happening either and I’m not alone in my opinion, obviously.monospaced
    • sounds like support didn't warn you that resetting the phone erases all the data. that sucks, but not the phone's fault, i don't think.Gnash
    • Innovation never sleeps, ask Steve.utopian
    • user's fault; don't blame Apple.chukkaphob
    • Bc of iCloud I no longer believe the “lost phone who dis?”notype
    • ^ lolGnash
