I'm pretty over Apples bullshit at the moment. All my devices and laptop are busy and slow as fuck from the updates.
As I mentioned before I had to reinstall my entire system after my last update.
My phone is a fucking brick.
and now I hear in the next couple months older devices like my iPad mini 2 won't be supported on next iOS update.
----
I not in the need of a new computer, so I'll wait on updating that... but I need a new phone, I'm seriously considering the switch to the Pixel 2.
I love google and all of their apps, I only use their apps on my iPhone anyway... but I wanted to ask some people on here that might be using both Apple products with an android phone.
Is this just a no go? Will I be even more frustrated?
- same here....it's called Apple fatigueutopian
- "busy" = "buggy"sofakingback
- fatigue indeed. It's just one thing after the other. And you know what, Apple's products have always been appealing because of their simple, easy to use...sofakingback
- design. I don't get that feeling from their products right now, even the new, top of the line stuff blows. MacBook Pro and iPhone X have negative reviews.sofakingback
- As an android user for a few months now, coming from a blackberry, android kinda sucks. It's really underwhelming.monNom
- Typing / autocorrect / text selection are all really behind the curve, and only in the latest android have they added multitasking. Brutal.monNom
- My next phone won't be an android.monNom
- Apple just doesn't give a fuck anymore and all their competition have worst products than they do. So why should they care?utopian
- Fuck, really? I was selling myself on the Pixel 2 damn it.sofakingback
- lol @ monNom - talking utter nonsense about Android. What the hell are you on about?fadein11
- multitasking has been on Android for years.
what's wrong with typing and auto-correct on Android? Bizarre statements.fadein11 - Blackberry. Really?monospaced
- I like Android much better than iOS. More flexible, actions are more streamlined, they actually have a design system they follow... the tech side is morezarkonite
- powerful too if you need to connect services and get work done. My Pixel 2 battery lasts a lot longer than my wife's iPhone's too.zarkonite
- monNom: they added multitasking over 2 years ago... they invented swipe typing and as a bilingual user I assure you the autocorrect is way smarter on android.zarkonite
- I got the iPhone X. I totally feel dirty about it too, because I know the Pixel 2 is a better phone. I just didn't want to deal with using a device outside thesofakingback
- OS family I already use for 2 computers, iPad and Apple TV. The phone is beautiful, I'll say that. The notch is whatever. I think the OS just feels tired...sofakingback
- It would be nice if they made a big sweeping change. I think that would give new life to their stuff.sofakingback
