    YouTube. Why is Auto 480p blurry, but 480p not? Why can't I just force all videos to play at higher resolutions instead of the shitty low auto default?

    • They automatically play at the highest resolution if you have the bandwidth. Mine never load in under 1080, for example. I've never, ever seen 480 load in.monospaced
    • Well, it also depends on the age of the video, too. Older videos (4-5 years, or so, and older) tend to only have a max resolution of 480p.Continuity
    • YT is the only site in the world that thinks I have a poor connection. But the Auto 480/480 discrep has nothing to do with the age or bandwidth.i_monk
