The whole 24 thing sounds important to you, but it might be completely aribtrary and meaningless to your cousin and his son, who I think I understand is 2 at the moment. Honestly, I would talk this through with your cousin first before committing to the concept and forcing storyboards. The fact that you're practically married to the idea and yet have not one of the 24 shots ideated is a red flag.
For weddings, get to know the couple and do what they want, what makes sense for them. Happy Sunday.
