I didn't ask for a specific topic within the movie because I wanted to see how everybody would approach this first assignment and I didn't want to limit the type of work we got. This being the first assignment so I thought it would be better to leave it open thinking I would get a better read of how everybody was approaching the project and make adjustments to how we work on it. Where did you get the idea that topic:Rashomon wasn't about the movie? There is an obvious parallel between the whole idea of the project and the movie. The idea is to work with more specific topics to better compare each other's approaches and we'll be doing that in the following weeks. Thanks to those that sent suggestions for topics.
You did have enough time, just other priorities. Bennn didn't know about the movie either but that stop him from making 3 proposal the same day.
