US Navy stealth destroyer Zumwalt. Finalizing sea trials and about to be delivered for inspection. Highly automated with a small crew, electric propulsion that is future-proofed for the upcoming railgun and laser systems currently in testing.

    • I hear it flips over with a big waveformed
    • ^ really? lolsofakingback
    • it punches right through waves, though it's less maneuverable due to it's relative instability port to starboard. you have to understand. waves aren't coming frterry_cloth
    • -om every which way except for a few freaky areas, with any vessel in danger of capsizing you align yourself perpendicular to the wave directionterry_cloth
    • but it still flips over, correct? I don't care how you spin it...it's like the recent fighter debacle..trillions for a jet that barely worksformed
    • the f-35 lightning is awesome, software bugs get are unfortunate but they get worked out, the jet itself works wonderfully. as far as the zumwalt, it's less manterry_cloth
    • -euverable that's all. do you think the greatest scientific minds that the DOD employs are bufoons or something? they know what they are doingterry_cloth
