Apple’s next big phone—presumably called the iPhone 7—will come without a 3.5mm headphone jack, will be noticeably thinner, will very likely support wireless charging and be waterproof, a source with knowledge of the company’s plans tells Fast Company.

    • it got thinner by removing the headphone jack which i could care less about because all my headphones are wireless. boom!kona
    • Lightning enabled headphones will soon follow from 3rd parties. They may also draw power for noise canceling too. So much for charging by cable at the same timemonospaced
    • I don't need my phone to be even thinner. Why are they still on that kick? And how are they going to improve the strength? Already bend problems with the 6.lvl_13

    • so if your headphone wire gets caught on something— instead of fucking up just your headphone port you fuck up your ability to charge and sync as well?PonyBoy
    • Make one that won't break into pieces when someone blows on it and I'll buy. Motorola is on the right track. Eeking pennies more out of customers is oldformed
