  By your logic, wasn't Luke basically Ben and Yoda's henchman for much of the trilogy? A means to an end. I mean really, Vader/Anakin was the hero. Luke would have failed otherwise.

  If Luke is heralded as a hero and saviour, he's a wee bit of a fraud.

  • This dynamic alone will be interesting. WAS Vader revealed as an ultimate hero? Was Luke revered for a final act he didn't do? Does he wrestle with some guilt?ETM
