This actually was a big problem with the prequels too. WAY too much focus on a guy who wasnt event the pivotal character of the original movies. He was Sidious' bitch to run around and do the dirty work.

Its only because Vader became so iconic that suddenly even his own creator made a much bigger deal out of him than he was, and it seems like JJ might be doing the same thing too.

I hope this is just some side thing with this Kylo Ren guy and not the actual driving force of the plot. I hope Kylo is just some henchman too that will get killed at some point, with much more important people above him who the plot is really about.

    • < Don't see the movie with this guy.ETM
    • ^ This guy likes the prequels lolzCygnusZero4
    • Yep. It's crazy like like some sort of religion(s) could get formed around a messiah or prophet, rather than just the divine being itself at the top. :)ETM
    • I like the prequels. News to me. I learned about me today.ETM
    • Hey, what about the Pope? Just another right-hand man that no one worships, looks to or fawns over, right?ETM
    • Just saying.ETM
    • Also Cygnus, you are aware the Lucas always have the general concept for the prequels and Vader origin in mind since Day 1?ETM
    • So saying they built prequels around Anakin simply because Vader became popular is not true.ETM
    • ^ yep you are right - the prequels were outlined at the same time as the original trilogy. it was all set up then.fadein11
