  Sorry for sounding condescending, it's just that most of this is academic. This forum is for (I assume) people with knowledge of art & design, who understand the history, principles, names and theories of that which we practice.

  If you want to argue some of the finer points...I get that, but I assumed we all had a working definition.

  When you pose a question like "What isn't art?" all I can think of is this guy....a rank amateur, stoned out his mind with enough freshmen art history and philosophy under his belt to bore everyone to death
