Is this a prequel? I thought the significance of the end of Return of the Jedi/episode 6 was that the last Sith was dead and the Empire was defeated. Here we have storm troopers, another Sith, and Rebellion ships being attacked by Tie fighters.

    • the struggle is never over, i_monk, you should fucking know that.set
    • A galaxy spanning empire isn;t defeated because their leader and half built station gets destroyed.ETM
    • Special Edition showed the fall of the empire everywhere, so I guess that isn't canon now.i_monk

    • I don't know if a few extra shots constitutes 100 or 1000s of controlled worlds.ETM
    • Ultimately some worlds would never fall/remain aligned if they don;t feel under the heel of the empire.ETM
    • Also, they had numerous fleets and military forces all over.ETM
