    One last question.
    I was told that Google fonts slow down the response of a website... is this true? Doesn't seem logical, yeah the server has to reach another but doesn't it happen pretty quickly?

    Coworker suggests using a standard desktop font for body copy (these are not long pages).

    • Of course every time an external file needs to be loaded it will slow things down a little...but should not be significant and usually worth the trade off.reanimate
    • To make it faster minimize the number of different typefaces and weights you use.reanimate
