NYC freelance laws?

  i really don't think there is a law against that kind of employment in NY

  I worked for Sony Music (in Santa Monica) but half of my workmates were in Sony Music on 5500 Madison in NY. All of us were basically permalancers. We were full time but not quite staff.

  -No benefits (like a lot of artists jobs)
  -At will (like most jobs)
  -They'd let us go if the work isnt heavy enough (like most jobs)
  -Not considered "full time" but I was on payroll.

  The only difference between me and the other freelancers that came in and out of the department was they werent around long enough to have their check handed to them at their desk so it was mailed to their house.
