'there's no such thing as 'good natural sugar''

Well, actually, yes there is. Sugar is naturally present in just about every fruit and vegetable you can think of, as well as in meats and grains.

The fact of the matter is: your body needs sugars in certain measures, like it needs other things: vitamins, minerals, fibre, protein, and so on.

Where sugar becomes 'bad' is because of refinement and over-indulgence. Like anything else, in moderation, naturally-occurring sugars are perfectly fine; indeed, absolutely necessary.

Blanket statements about something we've been consuming for who-knows-how-long like 'all sugar is bad', 'butter is bad', bla bla bla piss me the fuck off. Eat everything in fucking moderation, and you might see that most things out there aren't bad, except for processed foods, fried snacks and ready meals.

    • Butter, from unpasteurized milk.
raw milk from grass fed cow from spring to summer only.
