"kill facebook - its bad for society"
-lessfloorFacebook is amazing for society. Facebook and Twitter provide an avenue for the oppressed to make their situations known to the world... from the protests in Iran and Egypt, to the Occupy movement, and countless of other conflicts and injustices. They allow for the most efficient way to plan gatherings, protests, and the spread of information; Information that's created by citizens, not the media.
I've never even had a Facebook account, yet I can see how important it is for many people.
