Shit can be worth tolerating if the pay's worth the sacrifice.
The trick then is to rigidly enforce domains and terms, so at least you can fend off their bullshit, or take it but charge them for it.
if it's a long-term client who's continually pissing you off, you need to plan ahead and work on replacing them.
Then you can enjoy the luxury of telling them to fuck off... going in to detail should you wish!
