    He added a bit of Star Wars to make the new Star Trek's more accessible. More action, less cerebral. Now, if he can add a little Star Trek to Star Wars, it could be great. A little less action, a little more cerebral. Of course, I mean comparing the more recent 3.

    • Trek never shied away from action. The most recent pre-reboot movies were pretty much just action.i_monk
    • Really? Have you seen the ST: The Motion Picture. Have you seen the first 2-3 seasons of TNG?ETM
    • ST only got a little more action once Braga and Berman took over.ETM
    • Also it goes without saying the reboot's were mostly action, in fact that was one of the points of my entire post.ETM
    • Star Trek's best medium is television where they can make a cerebral episode. The movies are for a more general audience.CyBrainX
