A woman at work handed me a fountain pen. She said she knew I liked nice pens, and she had been given this one. She didn't like the way the clip felt where you hold it. It clicks like a ballpoint, but it's a fountain pen with a great nib and feel. I loved it and used it constantly.
A few months later, I was in a meeting, and a guy says, 'where'd you get that pen'? Turns out he had ordered it from Japan and never received it. It had arrived at our office with no name on the package, and our Japanese CD assumed it was a sample for him. CD didn't like it, gave it to the woman, who gave it to me.
He had already been reimbursed for the loss and bought another one, so I got to keep it. Great pen!
