saw it last night and i thought it was amazing. i went into the movie thinking it is what it is. I wasn't going to see "on golden pond."
"too much cgi!" really? it's superman vs zod flying/fighting at amazing speeds... how the fuck else they gonna show that?
for the 1st 3/4 of the movie i thought to myself that this could be the best comic book movie adaptation ever. the character development and story were superb.
i was only turned off by two points. 1) after the zod fight the sears product placement. that's the only one blatant enough to reach out and smack the shit out of my face. 2) the transformers like 30-40 seconds. you all know what i'm talking about.
the rest was brilliant.
