  We walked the AT for the first day and walked out to get on the river for the week.

  If you have any suggestions, please recommend. We're not sure where we are going this year. Last year the weather was unbelievable and we scaled up to a Class III rapid on the last day which was unforgettable. It would be great to find something similar, otherwise we're thinking somewhere long and tame back home in Michigan.

  • I canoe in ontario mostly - algonquin, temagami, etc. Quebec also has some beautiful canoeingGnash
  • I tried car-camping once and didn't like it at all. Didn't feel like camping.Gnash
