    Every time I read threads like this, I'm frankly thankful I don't like in the US. On an individual level, I get on very well with quite a number of you (mind you, they're expats), but frankly the atmosphere in your country must be fucking toxic intellectually and emotionally with all of this hyper-freak-out media, conspiracy theories, political debates that belong in the 18th century.

    Don't you people get tied of all that, and wish you could progress at an even-tempered and cool-headed level, free of drama bombardment?
