^ I went to a UC school, I could give a shit about this overbrand. And in the world of brands - it is not *that* bad. Their brand guidelines website is actually pretty nice - gives homage to the history, shows how to use it on all mediums, etc. This is typical California BS surrounding anything, you change the street signs from Helvetica on Green to Arial on Blue and 450 people chain themselves (nonsensical) to a pier in Santa Monica - the state is full of cuckoos and people who want to petition everything. Glad we are erring on the side of "no progress", added expenses, added explanations, and pointless drivel.
