  How did we go from the above two designs to the bottom one? The bottom one looks like some ugly Windows Vista crap. Look at the "Sync" button, it doesn't even line up with the bar to the left, it's a pixel too tall and it hangs down. Why not make them the same height??? And what, are they officially transitioning from Lucida Grande to Helvetica Neue for their system font?? Is the next version of OSX going to be done in all Helvetica Neue?

  

  It's really strange seeing an Helvetica font on this company's products. The Arial and Helvetica styles have such a Windows feel.

  Too many inconsistencies and some real shoddy work coming from this company lately. You get a sense that there's tons of indecisiveness going on and lack of leadership.
