I talk with clients pretty often about SEO, but I don't really ever consider positioning myself as an expert. I feel like I'm more of a facilitator of making the overwhelming amount of SEO information that's out there easier to understand. Even better, the things I talk to clients about with regard to SEO are all things they should be doing anyways to improve and promote their content - each of which happens to potentially have positive affect on ranking:
    >Good title tags
    >Content length
    >Content keywords
    >Use of heading tags
    >Writing blogs and creating niche topic sites
    >Sharing content on social networks
    >Discontinuing use of meta-keyords as a means of affecting ranking

We pretty much work exclusively with law firms, many of which are notorious for lengthy, ineffective content.

But in the end, I'm not presenting anything radically new or ground-breaking. I'm just trying to help people make sense of what to do that actually matters.
