Apple will fall apart now that Jobs is dead.

    • almost a year since his passing, and almost two since Tim has been in control... is it time for them to fall apart NOW?monospaced
    • hahaha yeahernexbcn
    • I think the push for innovation that Jobs brought to the table will disappear.CanHasQBN
    • Besides, 1 or 2 years is too short of a time for a huge company like Apple to start falling. You'll notice it later though.CanHasQBN
    • though.CanHasQBN
    • Like when Apple recently stated they won't go along with those Green standards... and then they retracted it the next day...CanHasQBN
    • That kind of wishy-washy stuff would never happen with Jobs in command.CanHasQBN
    • The company was Steve's baby. It's nobody's baby now. You can foresee a revolving door of CEO's...CanHasQBN
    • People looking to make money and get out... to profit off what Steve built... but not to build on top of it.CanHasQBN
    • How long have we been waiting for an iPhone 5?? What's the Mountain Lion update? A bunch of tiny features?CanHasQBN
    • It doesn't feel like they're doing anything anymore.CanHasQBN
    • Sure they put a retina display on the Macbook, but the retina display came about on the iPhone under Steve's watch.CanHasQBN
    • The iPhone 4S is the 5th generation, and you've waited no longer than any other generation.monospaced
    • Also, his entire COMPANY is responsible for their innovations, not just one dudemonospaced
    • guess we'll have to see, but the updates recently are all pretty Apple standardmonospaced
    • promising big things for Mac users next year (pro line towers, etc)monospaced
    • Sometimes I think you just want them to fail because you can't imagine them winning for so longmonospaced
    • I only count an iPhone update when they redesign it. 4S was basically just adding Siri.CanHasQBN
    • I DON'T want Apple to fail. I LOVE Apple.CanHasQBN
    • And yes many people are responsible for executing the innovations, but Steve's the one who pushes everyone.CanHasQBN
    • ...They execute his visions. Without that kind of vision, you end up with a stagnant company like Microsoft.CanHasQBN
    • I don't think it's as simple as one man and his vision.monospaced
    • It's not just one man but I see a trend of targeting the low end and forgetting about the high end.CyBrainX
    • hence, the lack of a new tower for so long, nixing the 17" laptop and obsessing on tablets.CyBrainX
