Thanks for the advice. Are there any midi keyboards you would recommend? I had a look at some the other day but really have no idea where to start lol. I also know you can get synths etc for iPads, and since we have 2 in our household (if I thieve my girlfriends), they could form a part of the workflow..?

- yeah the lil akais are good, or a novation sl25 for lots of knobs 'n goodies, buy used! hit up ebay like me.prophetone
- maschine will get you drumming and sequencing things, keyboard controller for synths, all else is software...prophetone
- i personally use pro tools but ableton is the bomb and so is logic, just preference 'n budget then go...prophetone
- i have lots of vintage drum machines, sequencers and samplers which is cool but $$$ over timeprophetone
