Nobody is complaining about a lack of bevelling, too few colours, or any of your other strawmen.
It's shit because it rapes the lettering to fit the "50" on top, it uses five typefaces/weights in close proximity, it substitutes the 5 for an S and zero for O the way we all did in first year at design school, and in typical Fairey fashion he's made it about himself/his brand (the colours) instead of the client.
If you needed all of that spelled out maybe you need a vacation.
