You didn't even check it in Windows?
Fine, don't check it in ie6, whatever. But to not even check how it performs in Windows (any modern Windows browser) is just lazy as hell.
How can you ramble on about caring so much about the details, and yet you don't even bother to check it across platforms? So what if the people looking at it use Macs... you should've made sure this worked in Windows to demonstrate your capability to code for more than just OSX, because last time I checked there are a shit load of people out there who still use Windows.
Anyway, congrats on the job. I don't mean to be cynical about this. I was just shocked when I saw how nice it looked at first and then all these screenshots show up of how much it screwed up. I don't understand how you can not even consider testing it on Windows... even out of curiosity.
