from my experience:
look into short run molds, you might be able to lower your funding needs, what kind of demand are you expecting? Have you had dozens hundreds thousands interested? You might be able to do a shorter run of rtv injection molding without having to make the costly tool investment initially.
as far as the blue and black options; imo, bad ideas, color & choice cost more money, follow the part it assists, make white only. function, not choice.
try to make it do what it does but look better. you really need to follow the lead of the manufacturer you are assisting and emulate them to integrate the product with theirs instead of contrast with it.
take the company name off the side and add the the name of the item, at least to one side.
I don't need the product, but those were my thoughts.
