  Boy, I used to think you were bringing a fair balance to the conversation. But with this whole thing where you keep calling Zimmerman a town watchman who was issued a gun... it makes me realize that you may not be even entertaining the facts that are deemed accurate to date and have been reported for a month.

  It's been stated many times he was a volunteer on a neighbourhood watch committee - self appointed commander, in fact. Not an employee of any kind, the gun was his personal weapon (though licensed). It's understood that many in the community did not know he even carried it. And now the community association is under the possibility of a lawsuit as they are considered to hold some responsibility in his actions.
