Seems like Trayvon was the one trying to defend himself.

Zimmerman got close enough to get involved in an altercation. Based on the audio from the 911 calls, Zimmerman did not sound like someone who would calmly and rationally approach someone he's been following through his neighborhood, as well as being armed. My guess is Zimmerman ran up to him grabbed him, got smacked in the face a couple times, then shot.

Ultimately this is terrible police work to just let him go, assuming it's just another gangster that got shot. Now this whole case is being played out in the public court. Good luck trying to find an impartial jury, if Zimmerman even gets charged at all.

    • he also has priors for battery on a cop and a restraining order from a girllocustsloth
    • in other words, this was a man who has a history of letting temper get in the way of good judgementlocustsloth
