a buddy of mine dropped out of school because his internship offered him a full time job as king of the interns at a large firm. that's been 7 years ago - now, he's still holding that same job, with minimal pay increase, while the interns he use to order around have graduated and are now his managers. most of their conversations start out like "hey, remember back when you were my boss? yeah, can you get me a coffee . . . " that really doesn't have anything to do with your intern question, but it always makes me smile.
