I went to high school and college with some Iranian friends.... the biggest irony is that it seems young people in Iran LOVE the US, at least some parts of the US, and they're constantly playing cat and mouse with the authorities about things like driving around late playing american music on the car stereo.... They think the current govt is a joke, drumming up controversy to get everyone distracted from their terrible corruption and bad economy and lack of opportunities for college grads...
