Iran will have to test at least one bomb before their supposed nuclear capability becomes anything like an actual threat, to us or even its immediate neighbours (less still Israel, 1,000km away)
Given that it's impossible for a country to conduct a nuclear test without the rest of the world immediately finding out*, we have one absolute pivot point where action against Iran becomes incontrovertible necessity.
At that point, the usual geopolitical hedgebetting naysayers in regards to action against Iran (Russia, China, etc) would have no substantive argument against a preemptive incapacitating strike, leaving the world clear to do its thing in a clinical, measured way.
EVERYTHING before that, every Fox News, Jerusalem Post or Telegraph piece of agitprop can be safely ignored as being war mongering preparative incitement and should be viewed as propaganda, best ignored or at least read-through.
.
* Ok, excluding Israel/South Africa who in all likelihood colluded to blow up a piece of Bouvet Island as their nuclear test, but their situation was a little more favourable than comprehensively-monitored Iran, unable in any practical sense to sneak off to the South pole to dick around with nukes.

That's a really classy, reasoned and clearly balanced site you've linked to there.

Jesus fucking Christ - have you even watched the whole of that video you've linked to?!
‘Galactic Crisis’?!
What is this fucking nutjobbery?! Ripped straight out of the tome of adolescent conspiracy. Jesus fucking Christ.
“...until we in the United States find the guts to break out of this system in one decisive action, we were [sic] doomed to suffer a world war, from which the human species may not recover in time to deal with the looming Galactic Crisis”

More likely to me, with the troops being recalled from Iraq, and the Republicans efforts to label the Mexican cartels terrorist organizations, is increased military presence south of the U.S. border. The war of 2012? Two hundred years since we've had any conflict in North America of the scale that this would entail. :(
