Use these situations where you don't care about the outcome to learn a little bit about negotiation.
Instead of not showing up, show up, ask your boss if you can talk, and lay out how you feel and exactly what it will take for you to stay.
When he says no then lay out the conditions you need to have to stay 2 weeks, 4 weeks, etc.
Learn the game and win in the future.
