I've seen some crazy, often comical results from Content Aware fill. But for the most part it's been pretty awesome. At best its near flawless. Most of the time it cuts the time required to shop out an element in half.
Also the Adobe demos take the most ideal circumstances to represent their results.
- scenario 1 for content aware fill.
'we need to make a surrender flag, but the internet only has japanase flags'...orrinward - ...japanese flags' Without C-A-F, this would mean we'd be back to the drawing board, but...orrinward
- ... if we draw a circle around tyhe red and hit content aware fill, the flag is now all white.orrinward
- And the Japanese surrender to the might of content-aware.orrinward
