Yesterday someone asked if this thing was archiving. Very important question, especially from a privacy point of view. When you load up the page you can see the last 100 entries—which I think is important if you want to join in an on-going conversation—and to do that you have to store the history of course.
But what you see is what you get. I've set up the chat to overwrite its own history. So once that buffer hits 100 entries (and it has) it starts overwriting the oldest previous entries. Better for users who might be concerned about privacy. And better for me because it takes up less server space.
So if you like what you see take a screen grab. Once it's gone it's gone.
