  I'm back in this for a bit too. One of the new seasonal races earns you 490k for 5 laps of racing, so i was able to easily save up (read: grind to death) and grab this mofo:
  

  

  
  and with that, I finally beat the historic race a few levels back. though it was still hard. the chapparel 2d owns in that race and just trying to get in front of it is near impossible, but doable if you can control that beast of a car. lots of shady powerslides to claim first, but i did it!
