I dunno this whole Cloud solution isn't doing it for me.

In the uncompetitive internet world of Canada, where massaging the flow (rub and tug the 'net?) is common place and the cost per byte transferred is amongst the most expensive in the world, having Apple push content to me will turn out to be too expensive. In the less data intensive world (like where I'm probably working for the next couple of years, Viet Nam specifically) the likelihood of this working efficiently is pretty slim.

Sure... Apple is no charity - I get that: I don't begrudge them the right to make piles of cash; we're adults so hopefully we can make some informed decisions.

However, one company "owning" my content worries me, despite the convenience. Good luck to everyone (and despite the reality that I own an iPod and use iTunes to manage it) but I'll take a pass thanks.

    • Vietnam fun facts: facebook.com is blocked but iPhone app works.raf
    • twitter.com is blocked too. It is however the country with most free wifi on the street I've been to.raf
    • Was there in Feb '10 and noticed the same thing - works for me. =)adumbratesly
