that seems a bit extreme... i have MT on recurring payments through my checking. I always get notified beforehand when a renewal occurs and have never had any problems thus far with billing.
Sorry for your luck... seems very odd they would need your drivers license though. Are you sure this is MT you're talking to? Maybe they're trying to verify registrar information... dunno. Might as well send them your SS# while you're at it.
