my husband lost his job suddenly three weeks ago and now he's doing freelance and a lot happier. we've actually kind of enjoyed the thought of only having what we need.
losing his job also meant we couldn't get the house we were in the middle of purchasing and that was a bummer but quickly afterward we both felt really relieved to not have a house payment and be stuck here in dumb old Utah.
it's really difficult but it feels so good to get out of the rat race.
