    Sorry the top of my recipe got cut off. This part goes first.

    Get one of those large boxes of Chicken Broth. I prefer swanson but get whatever you like. Get a thingie of ginger. Just cut it into cubes and hack off the outer layer with a knife of a peeler. It doesn't have to be pretty. Bring to a simmer with the ginger in the broth. Keep that going until it is as spicy as you might like. Once that tastes good to you, get a slotted spoon and take out the ginger chunks.

    Next:
    Finely chop green onion. Get a pack or two of enuke mushrooms. Enuke mushrooms are easy to swallow without really chewing anything and have a really mild flavor (and kind of the texture of noodles but with more nutrition). Add some fresh cilantro, and add some pepper to taste. Once the broth is ready just add all this stuff, cook for 2 more minutes and stir. Add bean sprouts when you can eat something a bit more hearty.
