Well, I was advised by my Dr to get them out because of previous infections and because they were doing more bad than good. I was also advised that this surgery is 10X worse on adults than kids but I didn't expect it to be this bad. I was told it would be 5-7 days of discomfort... my ass! It's been 10 days and I still talk with difficulty, still not able to eat solids or ice cream (the cold/pain combo just makes me want to shove a bat down my throat and in pain.

I hear you Shellie, but the pain was just too bad to handle without meds so I started 'functioning' only with them in my system and now I am paying for it... and unfortunately the other person that could cover for me in case I feel bad and want to go home is on vacation for a week...

    • Chalk it up to power-dieting. You'll be able to fit into all of those old man-kinis you haven't worn in years.d_rek
